Playing The Voice

A creative bungee jump into voice, improvising & personal development!

How can you find your voice? Is it there already? Do you want to hear it? How can you get out of your own way? What do you do when you don't know what's going to happen next?  

Playing The Voice is a workshop for those beginning to sing, those with lots of experience and those too terrified to have even got started! It's   for therapists and counsellors, youth, social, education and health workers, tinkers, soldiers, sailors........anyone interested in looking at how to improvise with their voices and exploring what that process has to teach them about their own emotional dynamics.

It's an opportunity to have serious fun exploring, discovering, and playing with your voice/s in a stimulating and supportive atmosphere. A chance to learn more about how your creativity can enrich your own life.

We'll play games and make pieces of music together that focus on playfulness, listening, presence and the thrill of making it up as you go along.

You'll be supported in an exploration of exactly how YOU respond   when you don't know what's going to happen next and in what that has to do with the rest of your life. It's an experience people often find challenging and liberating.
